I can choose Happiness

 I can choose happiness,
It can be mine,
Just blow away the black clouds,
And I will be fine,
Kick out all the darkness,
Let in some light,
No more sad and dull times,
Please let my life be bright.

 I want be have coloured times,
Not just black and white,
I want to have sunshine,
Not dark, like a moonless night,
All the colours of a rainbow,
Are there for me to take,
Then when my word is full of light,
My happiness, I will make.

 I need get some flowers,
To grow inside my mind,
With all their coloured petals,
The dark clouds are left behind,
I need to think of brightness,
Then I will be fine,
I can choose happiness,
And I know it will be mine.
