Heaven is along way away

Heaven is along way away,
A place where only the good can go,
I wish on earth I could stay,
Now I’m with angels, to say hello.

 So look up in the sky,
To where the stars live,
Now I can see your face,
And the smile that you give.

I will be here for you always,
Waiting for that day,
When you come and join me,
In your own special way.

 So look up to the sky,
Above the clouds I’ll be,
Looking down on you,
There’s a smile sent from me.

 Now I’m a free spirit,
With golden angel wings,
Remembering us together,
And all the happy things.

 I’m wishing I was with you,
But that can no longer be,
Your down there on earth,
Looking up for me to see.
